5 Affirmations To Say Every Morning

Your mindset is one of the most important factors for a happy life. When you think positive thoughts, you attract positive events and people to your life; you become a happiness magnet. Likewise, a negative approach to life can become a cycle of negativity that is hard to break.

To keep myself on the “positive” track—which is not always easy to do in today’s negative, chaotic world—I began saying daily affirmations. Affirmations are a simple, powerful way to keep you focused on the positive and keep you from dwelling on the negative. Here are a few of the ways affirmations can help you improve your view on life.

  • Start believing that happiness is a choice; it isn’t dependent on any outside forces like destiny, incidents, or relationships. It isn’t always easy to choose to be happy but it is worth trying. When you are happy you give off positive vibes and you become a magnet for good things.

  • Relieve yourself of any sort of negative thoughts or negative people. Negativity is a heavy burden to carry, so let go of it. Stop doing things that make you feel bad about yourself or have a negative influence on your thoughts and learn to focus on the positive things. When faced with a challenge or difficulty, look on the brighter side of the things and try to solve the situation instead of panicking and thinking you’re worth nothing. A good way of maintaining a positive attitude is to accept you for you and appreciate what you have to offer the world.

  • Try to share your happiness and positivity with the people around you in order to foster an overall positive environment in which you can work

Here are the five affirmations I say every morning to help improve my approach to the world.

1.It’s going to be a great day today.

Every day has equal potential to be good or bad. The special days are made special because you feel happy and positive about them. Starting the day with positivity and excitement increases the chance the day will go well.

2.I will do good deeds.

This affirmation will bring positivity and good feelings if you plan to do good deeds. It is a conscious decision to try to help someone, be kind, or reduce their suffering, even if it is just with a hug or a smile.

3.Everything will be okay.

Life is perfect; it comes with its ups and downs. In the midst of a “down,” it is important to trust that it will not always be this way; things will eventually improve, and this “bad day” is just one moment in time. There is always something to be gained from a situation, even if it is simply experience. Everything will be okay.

4.I will act with love and courage.

Anger can ruin any day, but it is not always possible to avoid it. What you can control is how you respond to that anger; remember to be patient and act with love and courage to avoid saying or doing something you will regret later. Remember this affirmation if you face frustration throughout your day.

5.I am capable.

You are capable of all of this and more. Remind yourself of what you do now, what you can do, and what you will do. Being positive and confident can take you further than you imagined.

My life has become more positive and fulfilling since practicing my daily affirmations because I am better able to see the upside of situations and events. Start out with just an affirmation or two every day, and as it becomes a habit, you will find that puts your whole day on the track toward positivity.
